The Oatmeal Stout was a success! Unfortunately it is all gone!
Next year we will brew some Coffee Stout in January. Keep your ears to the ground.

Fight the big beers!
With the recent announcement of MolsonCoors merging into a new company with SABMiller, I decided to put Wikipedia to work on some of the old beers of the US and found lots of information. What happened to Schlitz and to Stroh's, to PBR and Olympia? Well you can do your own research and see what you find. Just remember the next time that you are in the supermarket or local convenience store, how big these companies are now and how they still can't make a good beer. RedHook and Widmer are both owned partially by Anheuser-Busch, and Full Sail is still independent! Support your local brewery. Cheers!

2 more brews
Robotsonfire Red Ale 2.0 is already blowing the alcohol content monitors out of the water! Be looking for our souped-up red ale in about a month.
Double Dominus Imperial IPA will be ready in just over a week. It's sure to please as we've tasted it many times during the brewing process. Unfortunately our hydrometer broke during the cleaning process and we have no idea how much alcohol it contains. The artesians tell us that it's about twice as much as Dominus Ominous, but we can't trust their measurements since they are a bunch of drunk invisible midgets.
If you get your hands on either one (not the Artesians, but the beer), be very very careful, be sure to drink with others, don't drink and drive, and if you can, pour a glass for the hot chick sitting next to you. We are not responsible for what happens afterward. This is fair warning. Enjoy!

The drinkers have spoken!
We've decided to brew an intense version of Dominus Ominus IPA, a Douple IPA or an Imperial IPA (although the original Dominus Ominus could be called this too). It will be a more intense version, "Codename: DominusOhMyGoodness!"
RobotsOnFire Red 2.0 will also be brewed soon, thanks for the votes.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson
Unfortunately Michael Jackson has passed. He is a man we didn't know personally, but read his books and even watched his videos. Cheers.

We've been busy - Dominus Ominus and 12:09
In the past few months, we've brewed a new IPA (2 batches) called Dominus Ominus. It's been a hit! It's our first original recipe. We also brewed 12:09 Pale Ale (another original recipe) which was created in a spur-of-the-moment as the brewmaster was purchasing IPA supplies from the brewery supply store.
Now that we've nailed down our flagship I.P.A. that appears to be a great competitor to another local Petaluma brewery, we're going to create another new recipe. Please vote above with your opinion on the type of beer we should create next. See you soon!

One Year Anniversary!
I almost forgot, but I realized when reading the archives, it's been a full year since we started brewing again, and under the name Tecova Brewing. Be sure to go to the Petaluma Butter and Eggs Days Parade, and join us afterward for a free sampling. If not, we hope to see you downtown! Thanks again for your support.
Cheers!

back again like a hangover
The Robotsonfire Red Ale has had an overwhelming response and it seems to get better the longer it chills in our homemade kegerator. It has only been served on draft locally at our Old Petaluma Brewing Taproom. The Professor Booty Chocolate Porter has also enjoyed great feedback from it's select 22oz. bottle distribution. We will be doing one more specialty beer before we create our own original beer selection. The next specialty beer will be Tecova's Westside Honey Wheat, under the Old Petaluma label, probably also served specifically at our taproom. After that it's all original IPA or Pale Ale. There are a couple names circulating for our first all-original beer. We will probably handcraft an IPA or a Pale Ale. Keep your eyes and ears and tongues out. I hope you like hops!

It's been awhile...
But we have two new brews to tell you about. I'll post updates and photos later.
The first is "Professor Booty's Chocolate Porter", a chocolate flavored porter brewed for those cold rainy nights in Sonoma County. This has been brewed and bottled and will be available in about 1 week from your local pub or distributor. ;-)
The second is "Robots On Fire Red Ale" and is still in the fermenting process. There is a possibility that this may be a high alcohol content brew, so don't burn your mouth. Give us about 3 more weeks on this one.
